General Surgeon – 6-Month Locums in North Carolina

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified General Surgeon for a long-term locums assignment.

• Location: North Carolina
• Schedule: Thursday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM (call-only coverage)
• Start Date: September 1, 2025 (or sooner)
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Hospital Details: 395-bed acute care facility with an active emergency department and trauma-capable rooms
• Requirements:
o Active North Carolina medical license (required)
o BLS & ACLS certifications
o DEA registration

This is a great opportunity for surgeons who want predictable weekend coverage, no weekday clinic responsibilities, and a fully equipped hospital environment.
