Critical Care APP Locum Opportunity – Flexible Schedule in California!

Job description

**Schedule**
- Must be flexible – facility requires open availability
- Not able to confirm strict block scheduling (e.g., 7on/7off)

**Practice Overview**
- Units Covered: SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU (must be comfortable floating based on census)
- Support Staff:
Day: Attending on staff
Night: APP-only coverage, attending available at home, critical care fellow on-site 24/7
Collaborative, co-management model with surgical & neuro services

**Procedures & Responsibilities**
- Required: Central lines, arterial lines
- Not required: Intubation (but must recognize when needed)
- Responsible for codes in the unit, working alongside the full ICU team
- In-house staff available for moderate sedation, complex vent & sedation management

**Requirements**
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENLS (Emergency Neurological Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required (multi-specialty ICU experience strongly preferred)
