JOB DETAILS

• ** Must have an **ACTIVE NM license**
• The APP overnight will be required to cover the patients the intensivists are managing and manage new admissions or transfers. They will also be expected to provide support with basic ICU procedures such central lines, and intubations. The APP will be supported by the Tele-Intensivist team who can help staff their admissions, help with they are busy, and provide any general support during their shift.

• EMR: Epic
• Type of ICU: Open
• # of beds: 32
• Patient Mix: Medical/Surgical, Cardiac surgery
• Avg Census: 8-15
• Are CC docs on code team: Yes
• Tele Intensivist support: Yes, at night
• The hospital is located in Southern New Mexico close to a large metro area which serves a population of 300K people. In this 199-bed hospital, we will be covering an ICU which has 32 beds and is an open model. The ICU population is mixed with typical medical/surgical patients along with post cardiac surgery patients who we comanage. The patient volume will be split amongst the local Pulmonary group and our Intensivist practice.
