We're looking for a Medical Receptionist who can help make every patient interaction smooth and positive.
Position Summary:
The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in ensuring a seamless front-desk experience. This role involves managing appointments, patient check-ins, communication, and administrative tasks to support our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages
Verify insurance and patient information prior to appointments
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR)
Collect co-pays and process front desk payments
Keep the reception area clean and welcoming
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations
Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft) is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-oriented attitude
