The facility is part of one of the largest non-profit, fully-integrated healthcare systems in Connecticut, offering state-of-the-art technology including EPIC and a large, vibrant, and growing Hospitalist program with strong provider support and comprehensive orientation.

Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity joining an energetic inpatient hospitalist team
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop plans for further evaluation of patient health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday, per diem with premium differentials offered
• No call required
• Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in an internal medicine or hospitalist setting required
