New Nocturnist APP Opportunity – Ohio (January 2026 Start)
Job description
This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new nocturnist APP opportunity near Chillicothe, OH starting January 2026 and looking for coverage once credentialed.
• Start: January 2026 (specific dates below)
o Specific dates needing coverage:
o Jan 1–3 nights
o Jan 7–13 nights
o Jan 21–27 nights
o Feb 1–24 nights
• 7p–7a night shifts
• Minimum commitment: 5–7 shifts per month (stretches preferred)
• Procedures preferred (intubations/central lines), but not required
• APPs only – must have active Ohio license
• Closed ICU model
• Census: ~150 patients daily, ~36 admissions/day
• Responsibilities: admissions only + APP supervision
• MDs run codes and respond with RRT (ER runs RRT overall)
• Epic EMR
• Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
