Position Overview

Join a busy hospitalist team providing night shift coverage (7p–7a) in Chillicothe, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient experience, be comfortable working stretches of shifts, and commit to at least 5–7 nights per month.

Schedule & Priority Dates

Night Shifts: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Must be able to work stretches of shifts

High-Need Dates:

Jan 1–3

Jan 7–13

Jan 21–27

Feb 1–24

Practice Details

Responsibilities: Admissions only; APP supervision included

Support: Physicians run codes, APPs support admissions

Procedures: Preferred but not required (intubations, central lines). Internal medicine residents perform with supervision.

RRT: Yes, though led by the ER

EMR: Epic

Hospital Size:

36 ED beds

12 ICU beds (closed ICU)

150 census daily

~36 daily admits

Requirements

NP or PA – Board Certified/Board Eligible

Ohio license required (active)

Availability: at least 5–7 shifts/month

Procedures preferred but not mandatory

Strong inpatient hospitalist background

Credentialing

Typical timeframe: ~90 days
