NP Hospitalist needed for Wisconsin

Job Overview:
A healthcare facility in Portage, WI, is seeking two Advanced Practice Clinicians (NP) with a background in hospital medicine to join our team. The selected candidates will collaborate with a physician to provide high-quality care to hospitalized patients. This role includes admissions, rounding, and ongoing management hospital patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform 2-3 admissions per shift and round on 7-9 patients daily.
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for hospitalized patients, including those in critical care.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
Manage ventilators, drips, and other critical interventions (based on scope and experience).
Perform bedside procedures (if applicable and within scope of practice).
Qualifications:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Hospitalist, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work independently under physician support.

Schedule:

7 on, 7 off schedule
8AM to 8PM shift
