Job Description:
Anchorage, AK is seeking a Hospitalist.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be AK license and DEA at time of presentation
• Must have clean background/malpractice
• Must be Board Certified in ABIM or FM
• Must Be flexible to Work Days, Nights and Weekends.
• Minimum, 1 block of 7 shifts required per month; you may work more than 7 shifts in one trip, if you prefer

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
• Alaska
ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Average daily census is 60.
• Open ICU but requires consult for all patients. ICU bed count is 10.
• EMR is EPIC.
• APP noon- midnight • Hours: 36 hrs. day (3 docs) + 1 Swing when needed (1 doc) + 12 hrs. night (1 doc), 12 APP (1) swing • 20-25 encounters per doc, including admits
• 1 Critical Care doc on call at night, as well as 1 virtual health physician; APP works until 12a also.
• 250 bed hospital, but 175 beds are utilized • ICU Open, will round on patients (NO procedures) • ICU Bed Count: 10 • Run codes
• Available specialty back up:
• Admits/Rounding (or both): Both. ICU doc on-call and available for guidance/consultation

• At least 1 block per month; 7 shifts
• Board cert ABIM or FM; ATLS required
