Position: OB-GYN Hospitalist (BC/BE)
Location: San Jose, California Area
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Type: 24-Hour In-House
Schedule: 24/7 hospitalist coverage including deliveries, triage, and emergency response
Weekend Requirements: Weekend shifts included as part of 24/7 coverage
On-Call Requirements: 24/7 in-house availability for deliveries, triage, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist to join a dynamic, in-house team providing comprehensive obstetrical care. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area (relocation may be required).
Responsibilities include:
Provide 24/7 in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage
Attend deliveries and provide obstetrical triage services
Conduct patient evaluations and manage obstetric patients
Assist in surgical procedures as needed
Monitor fetal well-being continuously
Provide emergency room coverage for OB-GYN patients
Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Work within a hospital with a Level III NICU and affiliated neonatologists
Participate in a community back-up call system for gynecologic surgeries
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in OB/GYN
California medical license or willingness to obtain
Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
OB Hospitalist work experience required
Must reside locally or be willing to relocate
Visa support (J1 or H1B) not accepted
DEA license required prior to start
Locum tenens, fresh graduates, and visa candidates not accepted
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: $296,400 – $416,100 annually, with potential for an annual bonus

Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
