Hospitalist Needed in Englewood, CO | PRN Days & Nights | No Call | Closed ICU

Job description

Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
Length: Approximately 13 weeks, with an ongoing need over the next 6-8 months - PRN coverage only
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist coverage - open shifts, days and nights available
Schedule: PRN; providers pick up open shifts. Shift options: 7:00a-7:00p, 12:00p-12:00a, 5:00p-5:00a, and 7:00p-7:00a. Weekends and nights included.
Call: No call, no rotation
Volume: Rounders round on approximately 20 patients per day; dedicated admitters handle admissions and consults; total provider census approximately 200-220 daily
Practice Setting: Acute care tertiary hospital, approximately 520 beds, Level 1 trauma - closed ICU
Support: 7-8 physicians staffed daily for day shifts, plus full ancillary staff
Inpatient rounding on assigned patients
Closed ICU - no ICU rounding, no vent management, and no procedures required
Grand rounds on Tuesdays
Timely documentation in the facility EMR

Requirements
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Experienced inpatient hospitalist background required
No specific fellowships or procedures required
Active Colorado license required at time of submission
Orientation: 2-3 days of training/shadow shifts

Shift options: 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a
PRN/per diem - pick up open shifts
No call
