Hospitalist Locum Needed in Georgia

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:

Ongoing need with both day and night shifts available

Open ICU with strong specialist and tele-support

Emergency privileges available for quicker start

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Schedule:

7a–7p and 7p–7a shifts

No call, but must be available by phone until end of shift

Must be open to working all shifts

Work Details:

Setting: Inpatient

Beds: 57

Patients per shift: ~4 (team averages 12/day, 8/night)

Open ICU environment

Support includes critical care, cardiology, surgery, ortho, urology, nephrology, tele-ID, tele-psych, and tele-neuro

Vent management required (especially for nocturnists)

Requirements:

Board Certified

Active Georgia license and GA DEA required

Clean file required

Completed residency (IM preferred)

Experience in a similar facility required

Must have April availability and be flexible with all shifts

Credentialing:

60–90 days with emergency privileges available

Name clear process required

Orientation includes EMR training and shadowing (½ day each)
