We are looking for an experienced Physician to join our practice in Elwood, KS which is near St. Joseph, MO. We are seeking a compassionate provider to be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible in our Rehab Hospital/care facility. We have two openings, for a hospitalist-based physician and a medical director position. The medical director position involves oversight of practice management when working with mid-level providers, as well as other clinical and non-clinical staff, along with their clinical responsibilities.

This opportunity is part time or full time, working in a brand-new state of the art in-patient rehab hospital. Rotational schedule with another provider covering 7 on 7 off (or a combination of days split with other providers). Shifts ranging from 5-8 hours (dependent on efficiency).This position offers excellent work-life balance with flexible starting and ending times in lieu of a 12-hr. shift requirement. As census ramps you will have APP support and a scribe to assist with documentation as well as partnership track opportunity. Responsibilities:
• History and Physical Exams- Examine patients and their medical records, pertinent documents/imaging/labs/test
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Review and approve rehabilitation care plans as needed
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team and patient care conferences
