NICU Hospitalist Needed in Silver Spring, MD – PRN/Holiday Coverage

Location: Silver Spring, MD
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Schedule: PRN shifts, especially over the last 2 weeks of December
Shift Options: 12 or 24-hour shifts (24-hour preferred)
Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call
Practice Setting: Level 3 NICU
Census: 22–24 patients
Deliveries per Year: ~3,500
EMR: Cerner
Procedures: Intubations, umbilical lines, simple surgeries (e.g., hernia repair)
Team: 2 neonatologists during the day, 1 at night

Interview Process:
A call will be scheduled with the Chief of Regional Based Specialties within 24 hours of presentation approval. He will ask clinical questions and connect with 1–2 references within 48 hours. Offers are typically made within 72 business hours.
