We are seeking a Permanent Hospitalist in Rome, New York.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult inpatient
Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care in a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)
Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12–15 per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available
Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR
Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care
Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40–50 patients per day collectively
No on-call duties

Required Procedures: General inpatient hospitalist management
EMR System: Paragon
Support Staff: Full hospitalist team and intensivist support
Days Per Month: 14 (7 on / 7 off)
On-Call/Weekends: Weekends included in schedule

Job Highlights (up to 3):
• Full-time inpatient hospitalist role with no on-call duties.
• BE accepted if new graduate; must be BC within 2 years.
• $250K–$275K salary, $15K start bonus, relocation, CME, and full benefits.

Submission Requirements:
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine — Required
• Active or willing-to-obtain New York medical license — Required
• Clean malpractice and license history — Required
• DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications — Required

• Full-time inpatient hospitalist role with no on-call duties.
• BE accepted if new graduate; must be BC within 2 years.
• $250K–$275K salary, $15K start bonus, relocation, CME, and full benefits.
