Weekend Requirements: Included in 7 on / 7 off schedule
On-Call Requirements: No on-call responsibilities
Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join a well-supported inpatient team in a community-focused setting. This is a rewarding opportunity with a manageable patient load and excellent sub-specialty support.
Responsibilities include:
Provide inpatient care on a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)
Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12–15 per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available
Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using EMR
Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care
Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40–50 patients per day collectively
Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure
No on-call duties
Requirements:
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (BE) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
BE accepted for new graduates (must have completed residency)
Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start
New York medical license or willingness to obtain
Clean malpractice and license history
DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Open to full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule
Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support
Locum candidates, visa candidates, and 1099 candidates will not be considered
Compensation and Benefits:
Guaranteed base salary: $250,000 – $275,000
Starting bonus: $15,000

Submission Requirements:
Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
New York medical license or willingness to obtain
