Job description

• Inpatient Hospitalist
• Average number of Patients/Day: 15-20 during the day & 2-8 at night
• Average number of Admissions/Day: 6
• Average number of Admissions/Night: 5-10
• ICU Critical Care duties
• No midlevel support during the night
• LT responds to Codes
• Not expected to serve as back up in ER
• BLS and ACLS certified
• Procedures required for night shift (preferred for day): vent management, central lines, and intubations
• ECU Health Beaufort Hospital Campus of ECU Health Medical Center:
• 142-bed tertiary hospital
• New OR in the Hospital
• Level III Trauma
• 24-hour emergency department
• Anesthesiologist
