Hospitalist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Inpatient Facility in Eastern North Carolina

About the clinician's workday

The hospitalist will provide comprehensive night shift coverage from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM managing an average of 16-18 adult inpatient cases with approximately 2 admissions per day. The position requires ICU and critical care competency including ventilator management, code response, and oversight of the 10-bed ICU, 23-bed surgical unit, and 28-bed medical unit. The clinician will work independently without call requirements and will not serve as backup to the emergency department while maintaining BLS certification and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
