Hospitalist Needed in Springfield, OR | Floor Only, No ICU | No Call | 6 Openings

Job description

This is an inpatient hospitalist opportunity at an acute care hospital in Springfield, Oregon, where additional support is needed across six open positions. The schedule is 12-hour day shifts with variable blocked scheduling - for example, 7 on/7 off, flexible and not necessarily consecutive - with no call. The target start is October 2026, and travel is covered.

The physician handles rounding, admissions, and cross-cover for nocturnists, caring for floor patients only - there is no ICU management or rounding, as lines, vents, and intubations are handled by intensivists. Volume runs 15 patients per day for rounders and 7 for admitters, with an adults-only population. No procedures are required, and the facility is a Level II trauma center with full subspecialty support. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified as a hospitalist, with an active Oregon license in hand at presentation, at least two years of experience, ACLS, and 80 recent case logs.
