Why Coverage? Specialty needed?
We are contracted with the facilities to provide medical director services. We require a physician with a concentration in family medicine or internal medicine.
Dates of coverage? Start date?
August 9th to December 31, 2021. The assignment may potentially last longer.
Clinic hours? Work schedule?
Clinic hours are 7am to 7 pm. The schedule requirement is two 6-7-hour shifts . The schedule itself is flexible. The staff person must provide the coverage any weekday between Monday through Friday. No Weekends- . No after hours or weekend call.

Credentialing time? Fast track?
Credentialing at the facility takes approximately 7-10 days after submission of all required documents. The candidate must be eligible for credentialing through Medicare/Medicaid and must complete the application to assign benefits to the practice. Our staff will facilitate the completion of the application to assign benefits in conjunction with Consilium staff. By accepting the assignment, the candidate agrees not to accept employment at the site for 24 months after completion of the assignment with any other practice or independently.
Patients per day?
The patient load ranges from 10-15 patients per day. The responsibilities also include attending and participation in a 60-minute weekly care plan meeting, quarterly Quality Assurance/Infection control 90-minute meetings. There are also patient care meeting with families upon request. These are scheduled by social services and range from 15-30 minutes. There are never more than 3 of these meetings per shift. The average is one per shift. Certifications and POST forms must be signed weekly
