Hospitalist Needed in Cuero, TX | Permanent | Low-Volume Inpatient | Strong Autonomy

Job description

This is a full-time permanent hospitalist position joining a growing inpatient program at a 49-bed acute care hospital in Cuero, Texas. The setting is low-volume inpatient with strong autonomy and a manageable census - roughly 3,000 annual hospitalist encounters (about 8 patient visits per day), an average of 2.5 admissions per day, and an average daily census of four patients. The schedule is a 24-hour shift with daytime rounding and on-call availability until the following morning, with an open ICU and no procedures required.

The role includes patient satisfaction reporting and accountability, and documentation is in Meditech Expanse.

Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with hospitalist experience, along with ACLS and BLS.
