Job description
About the facility
A critical access hospital along Washington’s southwest coast is seeking a local hospitalist for an ongoing locum assignment. You’ll provide continuity of care for all ages—from swing bed to outpatient clinic visits—while supporting a tight-knit community that values meaningful, relationship-based medicine. With only 6 patients per day, the pace is intentional, allowing you to truly care for your patients without rushing.
This is a hybrid hospitalist + clinic role, where you’ll round in the hospital each morning, see patients in the clinic in the afternoon, and take evening call. The Emergency Department is staffed 24/7, so you’re not handling ED intake—just inpatient and clinic continuity.
The facility is known for its collaborative, low-drama culture, and its proximity to beaches, hiking trails, and coastal towns makes it ideal for those who want to combine purpose-driven work with restorative surroundings.
