Medical Oncology APP Needed in Santa Monica, CA

Schedule: We are looking for a provider to cover 5 days a week coverage in both the clinic and doing inpatient rounding. Typical work hours are going to be 8am-5pm but we can be flexible with providers working 7am-4pm. Provider will not work any nights, weekends or call. They will be required to take a one hour lunch unpaid.

Work Details:

· Patients per shift: 10-12
· Providers Requested: 1
· EMR: Epic
· Skills required: Provider must be able to work independently and have enough experience to operate on their own as the physician on staff is generally really busy so can not be as hands on to help. APP will help in clinic on Tuesdays and Friday's mainly. They will help with inpatient rounding everyday and consults in the ER PRN. Provider will also be expected to help with in-basket, patient calls, and results throughout the week. Manage patient calls, issues, and post op patients and concerns. There will be another APP that helps mainly in the OR.

Practice Setting:
• Inpatient/Outpatient

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· License required: Active CA License Only
· Required they are proficient in EPIC
· Preferred that they are local but not required
· Must have at least 25 case logs in the last two years.
· Certifications preferred: ACLS
· Certifications required: BLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 Days

• 3 months ongoing
• No Call
• Travel and malpractice covered
