Medical Oncology NP Needed in Berkeley, CA

Start: February

22-week assignment

Shift Details: 5x8 days, M-F 0830-5p
Schedule: M-F every week

Work Details:
• Support staff: APPs, physicians, RNs, MAs
• Amount of coverage needed per month:
• Patients per day: about 12 - 14/day
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Dept is apart of large cancer center. They see variety of cancers like breast, GI, GU, and Hem/Onc.

Infusions happen on site, infusion knowledge required for locum

Locum will be facilitating patient visits and managing in-basket messages
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: locum not expected to do procedures
• Skills required:
Locum must be professional, clear communicator, willing to work hard in the dept

Practice Setting:
• outpatient
• Clinic

Requirements:
• Board Certification: For NP: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
• License required: yes, CA.
• DEA: required with schedule 2
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required:
Must have at least 2 years RECENT experience working in adult outpatient oncology setting. Preferred if provider has worked with breast, GI, or GU cancers. Preferred if provider has infusion experience.

WILL NOT consider only inpatient experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
