Hematology/Oncology NP/PA – Santa Monica, CA – Weekday Inpatient + Clinic Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with strong medical oncology experience to provide full-time coverage in both an outpatient clinic and inpatient setting in Santa Monica, CA. The provider must be able to work independently and manage a busy oncology caseload. This role includes inpatient rounding, clinic coverage, consults, post-op patient management, and inbox responsibilities.

Start Date: 1/1/2026
Contract Length: 2 months
Schedule: 5x8s (Mon–Fri), typical hours 8am–5pm (flexible to 7am–4pm); no nights, weekends, or call
Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient – Acute Care Hospital
Patients per Day: 10–12
Support Staff: Physician on-site (limited availability), another APP for OR support
EMR: Epic
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Licensure: Active CA license required
Certifications Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS, local candidates, proficiency in Epic
Experience Required: Must have 25 oncology cases logged in the past 2 years; must be able to operate independently

We pay weekly, cover malpractice insurance, and handle credentialing in-house!

• Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends or call)
• Mix of inpatient rounding and clinic-based care
