Neuro Oncology NP – Part-Time in Santa Monica, CA – 3 Days/Week

Job description

A premier Southern California hospital is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in neuro-oncology for a short-term locum assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years of recent neuro-oncology experience. The schedule is three days per week with built-in daily hour guarantees. Preference given to providers with recent case logs and familiarity with chemotherapy orders.

Start Date: 1/5/2026
End Date: 3/1/2026
Contract Length: Approx. 2 months
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday only

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour guarantee)

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour guarantee)

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (4-hour guarantee)

One-hour lunch required Tues/Wed

Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
Patients per Day: Up to 15
Support Staff: Yes
EMR: Epic
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Licensure: Active CA license required
Certifications Required: BLS, DEA
Experience Required: 2 years recent neuro-oncology experience
Preferred Skills: Lumbar puncture (not required), 25 case logs in past 2 years if requesting chemo privileges

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days (requires activity logs from past 2 years)

We pay weekly, cover malpractice insurance, and handle credentialing in-house!
