Medical Oncology NP/PA Opportunity – Edmonds, WA
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: October 1, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing (13-week initial assignment)
Schedule
Monday–Thursday
8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Four 10-hour shifts per week
No call
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Practice Setting
Split between:
Outpatient Oncology Clinic
Infusion/Treatment Center
Hospital
Inpatient and Outpatient Medical Oncology
Epic EMR
Approximately 8–10 patients per shift
Responsibilities
Manage oncology patients in the clinic, treatment center, and hospital
Perform patient assessments
Manage patients receiving infusions
Recognize and manage infusion reactions
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary oncology team
Provide ongoing oncology follow-up care
Requirements
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Washington License or compact RN
Active DEA
BLS Certification
Experience working in an oncology clinic
Experience managing patient infusions, oncology assessments, and infusion reactions
Credentialing: Approximately 30–90 days
