Outpatient Oncology PA Needed in CA

Location: Los Angeles

Start: September

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing -potential to convert perm

Shift Details: 8a-5p
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Details:
· Support Staff: Front office, Physicians
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT
· Patients per day: Varies by day. Monday and Friday 5-6, Tuesday, 40-45, Wed-Th, 30-35
· Patient Population/Age: Adult
· Department Description: NP should have at least 2 years of outpatient oncology experience. Internal medicine experience is also a plus
· EMR: EPIC, beacon module for oncology
· Skills Required: robust background in Oncology including chemotherapy, ordering imaging, complex labs, CTs, MRI’s, PET scans.

Practice Setting: Clinic/Private Practice

Requirements:
· Board Certification: ARNP
· License Required: Active CA license
· DEA: Required
· Certifications Preferred: OCN or AOCN
· Certifications Required: Certified FNP,ARNP, ONS Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification
· Minimum Experience Required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days… can work in interim capacity to start ASAP.
