Hematology/Oncology – Anchorage, Alaska – 2 weeks on 1 week off – Aya Locums

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2868450
• Location: Anchorage, AK
• Target Start: June
• Length of commitment: 6 months with the option to extend or transition Perm
• Shifts: Monday-Friday (7:30am-4:30pm)
• Schedule: 2 weeks on 1 week off rotation preferred, 4x10s or 5x10s, No Call
• Support staff: 3 FTE MD’s, 1 FTE NP, 1 per diem NP
• Volume/# of patients per day:12-13 patients per day 1hr new consults 30 mins follow ups
• EMR: Cerner now but switching to Epic in the future. Paper orders/charts for infusion(s)
• Hospital: Level II trauma center - may be asked to do some rounding at hospital located 5 minutes away
• Department Description: Facility has a "Doc of the day" which is for rotational business hours doing consults nothing after hours, may need help with this on rotation
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active AK License **Will License, DEA, BLS, 3 references
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
