Job Description:

DETAILS:
• Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, consulting
• Start month (with credentialing): October 2025
• Shift hours: 8 am – 5 pm
• Low chance of call shifts
• Patient Population for Required Coverage: Inpatient Oncology unit – both oncology and hematology patients
• Support staff - Do APPs Provide Coverage: No, although outpatient Oncologists available for any support or questions.
• Inpatient coverage
• Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers: No
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Locum treating both Oncology and hematology patients and administering medication.
• 90-day credentialing timeframe

• MD diploma
• Internship/residency/fellowship certs
• All medical licenses
• DEA
• Board Certification
• Life support cards- BLS
• Current and previous certificates of insurance
• Driver’s license

• CMEs for the past 2 years
• Immunization records including TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, and COVID
• References
• Case logs


SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified Medical Oncology OR Medical Oncology/Hematology - REQUIRED (can no longer consider IM with experience)
• ID license in hand - REQUIRED
• CSR, DEA, BLS- REQUIRED
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Clean background/malpractice - REQUIRED
• Local, no flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Must have COVID vaccine in order to work at this facility - REQUIRED

• Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
• DEA
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
• Idaho

• Hospitalist needed for rounding, admitting, consulting
• 8am - 5pm, low chance of call
