Hematology/Oncology Locums | 6-Month Contract | North Carolina Charm 🌄

Job description

Seeking a Hematologist or Oncologist for ongoing ambulatory clinic coverage in Reidsville, NC. The role focuses primarily on benign hematology and bread-and-butter Hem/Onc follow-up and new patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment.

📅 Start Date: 1/1/2026
📆 Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)
🕗 Schedule: 8:00a – 5:00p, Tuesday through Friday
📞 Call: Infrequent call and some weekend coverage required

Work Details:
- Setting: Hem/Onc Clinic (with occasional inpatient work)
- Support Staff: Nurses, Navigators, Admin Support, Pharmacy, 1–2 Physicians, APPs, and an Infusion Specialist
- Duties: See follow-ups/new patients, write orders & prescriptions, communicate with pharmacy

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Hematology and/or Oncology
- State License: Active NC license required
- Certifications: BLS
- DEA: Required
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years
