Aya Locums is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncologist to join a leading regional cancer center recognized for its collaborative environment, cutting-edge treatment technologies, and commitment to personalized patient care. This modern, free-standing facility integrates medical oncology, radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, lab services, clinical trials, infusion bays, and a dedicated bone marrow biopsy suite—all under one roof. Accredited by the DNV and Commission on Cancer, and proudly holding ASCO QOPI recertification, the center upholds the highest standards in oncology care. Serving a broad regional population with a strong referral network, the practice is supported by a robust multidisciplinary team, offering an exceptional setting for both professional growth and meaningful patient impact.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call Schedule: Inpatient call every 3rd week
Patient Volume: ~15 patients/day
Support Staff: RNs, CMAs, and APPs
EMR: Cerner
Practice Setting: Hospital-based Cancer Center
Special Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Candidate Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
Fellowship: Oncology Fellowship required
Licensure: Active West Virginia license preferred (willing to license; temp license available for clean background)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years preferred
