Oncology – Locum Tenens | Beckley, West Virginia

Start Date: December 1, 2025
Contract Length: 1 Year

Facility Type: Hospital-Based Cancer Center

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Call: Inpatient call every 3rd week

Setting: Outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding during call weeks

Patient Volume: ~15 patients per day

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Nurses, CMAs, APPs

Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies


Requirements

Board Certification: Oncology (required)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: 3–5 years minimum preferred

State License: Active WV license required (temporary license available with clean background)

DEA: Required


Credentialing

Timeframe: 45–60 days


Additional Information

Coverage Need: Full-time coverage; must be able to offer at least 3 weeks per month

Willing to License: Yes (temporary license available for clean candidates)
