Locum Nephrologist - Clinic or 24 hr call

Job description

A respected health system is seeking Board-Certified Nephrologists for two locum opportunities: outpatient clinic coverage and 24-hour inpatient call. Providers may apply for one or both depending on availability.

Outpatient Clinic Coverage

📅 Schedule: One full clinic week per month (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)

🧑‍⚕️ Patient Volume: 15–20 patients/day

💼 Support Staff: Yes

🏥 Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic

💉 Skills Required:

Hemodialysis

CRRT

Peritoneal dialysis

Chronic kidney disease management


24-Hour Call Coverage
📆 Dates Needed:

Sept 5 – 12

Oct 10 – 17

Nov 14 – 21

Dec 12 – 19

🕐 Schedule: 24-hour inpatient call coverage (Trauma Level 2 facility)

👤 Ideal: One provider to cover all dates (flexible based on availability)

🧑‍⚕️ Patient Volume: 10–20 patients/day

🏥 Practice Setting: Inpatient

💉 Skills Required:

Hemodialysis

CRRT

Peritoneal dialysis

Acute nephrology consults
