Nephrologist Needed for Ongoing Locums – 1 Week/Month – Outpatient + Call – North Carolina

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in North Carolina. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for physicians seeking a consistent 1-week-per-month schedule.

Assignment Details:
• Start Date: July 2025
• Schedule: 1 week per month (Monday–Friday clinic + 24/7 call that week)
• Clinic Hours:
o Monday: 8a–4p
o Tuesday (dialysis day): 8a–4p
o Wednesday–Thursday: 1p–5p
o Friday: 8a–12p
• Patient Volume: Approx. 10 per day (2 new, 8 follow-ups)
• Support: Another nephrologist onsite 3 days/week
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Outpatient clinic with light inpatient call
• Licensure: Active North Carolina license required
