Nephrology Locums – Urgent Need

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist for an urgent locums opportunity in WI. This role covers both inpatient and outpatient nephrology and offers strong support staff in a collaborative care setting.

Position Details:

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8A–5P

Call: Weeknights, 5P–8A

Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred; will consider multiple consistent part-time providers (no PRN)

Patient Load: ~5 inpatients/day + 5–7 outpatients/day

Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric

Practice Setting: Clinic & hospital

Support Staff: Medical Assistants, LPNs, RNs

Skills Required: Standard nephrology scope of practice

Requirements:

Board Certified in Nephrology

Fellowship in Nephrology required

Active WI medical license preferred (will consider candidates needing licensure, but WI-licensed candidates prioritized)

Credentialing: 60–90 days
