Neurosurgery APP Opportunity in the Bay Area California!

Job description

Contract Length: 26 weeks (options to extend and locums to perm available)
Work Details:
• Patients per day: census varies, from 8 to 20 – depending on how busy facility is and how many transfers come in from other facilities
• Department description: Sees both inpatient and outpatient patients in neurosurgery care. Provider will work both inpatient and outpatient. Outpatient is managing post op patients, case management, ordering imaging, scans, etc. Inpatient is managing brain tumor patient, neuro ICU, meningioma, etc. Facility receives transfers of high acuity patients from other facilities.
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certification: If NP: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC required
• Must have at least 1-2 years working in neurosurgery or complex surgical floors.
• May consider providers with neuro ICU experience

• Full time, M-F weekly
• Sees both inpatient and outpatient patients in neurosurgery
• May consider providers with neuro ICU experience
