Neuro ICU APP – Night Shift (Locums)
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 3-month initial contract with option to extend
Schedule: Nights only | 13-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
Call: None
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support a Neuro ICU on a night-shift-only basis. This is a high-acuity setting with strong on-site support and no procedural requirements.
Clinical Setting
Unit: Neuro ICU
Patient Volume: Varies; up to 10 patients per night
Cases Include:
Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
Seizure management
Post-craniotomy care
Aneurysms
Support & Coverage
1 APP on-site overnight
1 Attending on-site overnight
No procedures required
Technology
EMR: Cerner
Requirements
PA-C with Neuro ICU experience or
Acute Care NP with Neuro ICU experience
Active or eligible state license
Ability to obtain hospital privileges
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Emergency privileging under review
