Neurosurgery APP needed in San Francisco, CA

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Neurosurgery APP needed in San Francisco.

Contract Length: 26 weeks, option to extend, 6/2 start
Shift Details: M-F, 8a-5p

Work Details:
• Patients per day: census varies, from 8 to 20 – depending on how busy facility is and how many transfers come in from other facilities
• Patient population/age: Adults
• Department description: Sees both inpatient and outpatient patients in neurosurgery care. Provider will work both inpatient and outpatient. Outpatient is managing post op patients, case management, ordering imaging, scans, etc. Inpatient is managing brain tumor patient, neuro ICU, meningioma, etc. Facility receives transfers of high acuity patients from other facilities.
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: pulling drains
