Facility in Rockford, IL seeking Neurology APP locums coverage Rates: $170/hr Opportunity Highlights Consistent Schedule: Work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. No call is required for this position. Collaborative Team: Work alongside attending neurologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will not work solo. Diverse Responsibilities: This role is integral to delivering high-quality care, including inpatient rounding, new patient consults, and managing stroke alerts. EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting. Privileging: Estimated 90 days for full privileges. Key Responsibilities Round on neurology inpatients. Perform new patient consults. Manage stroke alerts and respond to acute ED and transfer evaluations. Provide pre- and post-operative management of endovascular cases. Handle intermittent clinic in-basket management. Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provider Requirements Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience, with a strong background in stroke and general neurology. Licensure: An active Illinois State License is required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
