Neurological Nurse Practitioner Needed in Ohio:
Inpatient - Critical Care
Nights: 6pm to 6am
Flexible Schedule: Either 7 on 7 off or 4, 12 hour shifts one a week followed by 3 12 hours next week
Board Certified or Board Eligible (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio)
Adults only
40% Trauma
10 patients per night
Average 5 neurosurgery consults per night
No Neurologist present during assignment
2 Neuro intensivists in group and available by phone at nights
Support staff: 3 APPs in group
Typical level 1 trauma set up
Trauma Level/Designation: level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke
Lab and x-ray on site
EMR: Epic
Estimated August start, 6 months contract and ongoing
BLS, ACLS required / ENLS highly preferred
Must be comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a level 1 trauma center. Experience working with stroke patients required.
APC that can cover a level 1 trauma center neuro ICU (16 beds) at night. Will be covering neurosurgical consults at night
Travel and Lodging provided + Malpractice Insurance covered
