This inpatient facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient neurology coverage on an on-site basis. The facility operates within a structured environment designed to facilitate coordinated neurological care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Both day shift and night shift coverage are available to meet the ongoing staffing needs of the neurology service.

St. Louis offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, recreational, and culinary attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include Forest Park, a green space larger than New York's Central Park, which provides free admission to the Saint Louis Zoo, the Saint Louis Art Museum, and the Missouri History Museum. The city also features the City Museum, a renovated shoe factory with tunnels and interactive features, St. Louis Union Station with an aquarium and observation wheel, and local culinary specialties such as toasted ravioli and St. Louis-style barbecue.

About the clinician's workday

The neurologist will provide inpatient neurology coverage on a 7-on/7-off schedule, with 12-hour shifts available as either a day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or a night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Clinical responsibilities include conducting neurological evaluations, formulating and implementing patient management plans, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary hospital team throughout each assigned coverage period. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Neurology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
