FT IP Neurologist Position in New Jersey
Job description
Full-Time Neurologist – Level 1 Trauma Center
Schedule:
On-site, roughly 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM scheduled shifts
Call coverage daily from 6:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Caseload:
10–30 patients per day
Diverse neurologic conditions including:
Stroke and TIA mimics
Seizures, seizure-like events, and status epilepticus
Encephalopathy
Head pain disorders
Neuromuscular disorders
Medical spinal cord disorders
Autoimmune and paraneoplastic neurologic conditions
Nervous system infections
Vestibular disorders
Neuro-ophthalmologic disorders
Clinical Responsibilities:
Patient evaluation and management
Bedside lumbar puncture procedures (direct performance, supervision, or educational assistance)
Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist
Comfortable working in a level 1 trauma center environment
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams including residents and advanced practice providers( APPs)
Support Team:
Residents and APPs to assist with patient care and procedures
