Neurologist Needed in Longview, WA | 1 Week/Month + Call | Inpatient & Outpatient | Licensure Flexible

Job description

This is a part-time (0.25 FTE) neurology opportunity at an acute care hospital in Longview, Washington, spanning inpatient and outpatient work with both hospital and clinic privileges (neurology is based in the hospital, with no separate clinic). The client is looking for someone to cover one week per month, Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p, plus three to five days of 24-hour call. The target start is October 2026, and travel is covered.

Call is unrestricted beeper call, with roughly 0-4 calls or texts per 24 hours managed by phone and in-house consults when on site. The physician handles rounding and admissions for a patient population aged 17 and older, seeing about 16 patients per day, and is not working solo - the role is supported by 1.5 FTE physicians and a 1.0 NP. Required procedures include EEG and EMG, and documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Neurology, with an active Washington license, at least two years of experience, BLS, ACLS, a DEA, and 100 recent case logs. The client will explore IMLC.
