Job description

This is an inpatient neurohospitalist opportunity in Spokane, Washington, floating between two facilities, with scheduled clinical hours only (day or night). Shifts are 12 hours - 6:00a-6:00p for days or 6:00p-6:00a for nights - with coverage determined by the provider's preference for days or nights. Specific coverage blocks include days on September 8-21, nights on October 9-12, and nights or days on December 22-28. The assignment runs approximately 17 weeks across specific date blocks from September through December, and credentialing runs approximately 90 days. Travel reimbursement is available.

The setting is inpatient neurohospitalist care, with about 12-15 patients per shift. The physician must have recent stroke care experience and be up to date on extended-window thrombolytic therapy. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should have neurology residency training and neurology board certification (Board Certified only), with an active Washington license or IMLC, a DEA, and fellowship training.
