FULL TIME CRNA NEEDED

Job description

Well established ophthalmic ASC looking for experienced CRNA for a full time position in Southwest Florida. Fast paced and excellent team work.


Key responsibilities
Pre-anesthetic care:
Conduct a pre-anesthetic assessment of the patients
Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
Anesthesia administration:
Induce, maintain, and manage anesthesia during procedures in the ASC.
Monitor the patient's physiological condition throughout the surgery.
Recognize and respond to any alterations in patient response to the anesthetic or procedure.
Post-anesthesia care:
Provide a post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
Manage the patient's emergence from anesthesia.
General duties:
Notify the responsible physician of any changes in the patient's condition.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Strong critical thinking skills and a high degree of quality and safety adherence are required.
Experience in ophthalmology is preferred, though not always mandatory, depending on the specific role and location.
Must comply with state and institutional regulations, as scope of practice can vary by location.
Ability to work effectively with the ophthalmic team

  • CASES INCLUDE CATARACTS, OTHER EYE PROCEDURES, OPHTHALMIC PLASTIC SURGERY
