The University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School, is seeking a Glaucoma Fellowship-Trained Ophthalmologist. What You'll Do:
Deliver evidence-based clinical care and drive healthcare redesign.
Educate and mentor residents and students in eye care.
Conduct scientific inquiry with faculty and learners.
Contribute to strategic growth of the MSWEI.
Build strong partnerships across Central Texas.
*For candidates with leadership experience and specific interests, there are opportunities to*:
Serve as Associate Chair (Vice Chair) of Research.
Take a lead role in establishing and directing an Anterior Segment Fellowship, collaborating with existing Cornea, Glaucoma, and Uveitis faculty.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Current Board certification/eligibility in Ophthalmology.
Fellowship training in Glaucoma.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Texas.
Eligibility for faculty appointment with The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School.
Demonstrated interest in research.
