Requirements
✓ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
✓ Active North Carolina SLP license
✓ Minimum of 1 year of experience
✓ BLS certification (per policy guidelines)
✓ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✓ Familiarity with IEP processes and federal education guidelines

Responsibilities
✓ Provide direct speech and language therapy based on students’ IEP goals
✓ Deliver consultative services to staff, parents, and students
✓ Participate in IEP development and meetings
✓ Conduct school-wide screenings and share findings as appropriate
✓ Observe students and provide assessments as needed
✓ Write detailed evaluation reports with diagnostic findings and implications
✓ Track case timelines and maintain special education documentation
✓ Participate in Child Find activities and maintain confidentiality standards
