📅 Assignment Details

Start Date: January–February 2026

Contract Length: Ongoing

Coverage Type: 24-hour beeper call (7a–7a)

Schedule: Flexible — weekdays, weekends, and holidays available

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Average Consults per Shift: ~3

Credentialing Timeframe: ~3 months

EMR: Epic

Orientation: Quick shadow + Epic training


🩺 Work Details

Call Type: Beeper call only — no in-house requirement

Facility Type: Non-trauma hospital

Call Back Volume: Low; not an extremely busy facility

Inpatient Rounding: Only on patients seen during your call shift

Patient Population: Primarily teens and adults (occasional <13 for foreign bodies)


⚙️ Procedures & Case Types

Typical Cases: Foreign bodies, bleeding, nasal fractures, post-op complications

Common Procedures:

Tracheostomy

Abscess drainage

Foreign body removal

Epistaxis control

No trauma cases


✅ Requirements

Board Certification: Required

State License: California

DEA: Required

Experience: Comfortable with general ENT and managing post-op complications
