Job description

This is an otolaryngology opportunity at an acute care hospital in Turlock, California, spanning scheduled clinical hours plus call across both inpatient and outpatient settings, over an assignment of approximately five weeks. Clinic and hospital hours run 8:00a-5:00p on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with coverage three times a month in Monday-to-Monday stretches. Call is 24-hour (7:00a-7:00a) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, covering both assigned and unassigned patients, with a 15-20 minute response time and an average of 0-3 patients seen while on call. The provider must work the full stretch of open dates, as partial dates will not be considered. Temporary privileges are granted, credentialing runs approximately 120-180 days, and travel and lodging are provided.

The physician serves an adult population (18 and up) across clinic and hospital, with documentation in Athena and Cerner.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Otolaryngology, with fellowship training, 50 case logs within the past 24 months, an active California license (no IMLC), and ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
